Global Rotational Development Program — Operations

Get the experience, exposure and expertise to succeed fast. The Global Rotational Development Program (GRDP) provides a combination of manufacturing exposure and Six Sigma expertise gives a breadth of experience much greater than most traditional career paths for new college hires.

You'll gain experience from:

  • Four 6-month assignments
  • Exposure across two different divisions
  • Work within four functional areas: Manufacturing, Materials Management, Quality Assurance, Plant Supervision, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Project Management

After completing the program, successful GRDP graduates are expected to move into permanent positions that utilize their individual strengths. These permanent assignments are based on the demonstrated abilities of each GDRP graduate to assume greater responsibility. In other words, what you get is what you earn.

GDRP graduates can find themselves in very important roles:

Learn, grow and develop in our Project Management Training Program (PMTP) in three phases over two years – all right on the job. A combination of manufacturing and project execution exposure provides a breadth of experience much greater than most traditional career paths for new college hires. Upon completion of the PMTP rotational assignments, graduates are placed into positions that utilize their expertise, training and skills.

Subsea Systems Sales Training Program

Build on your sales and technical skills through our Subsea Systems Sales Training Program (SSSTP) where you'll learn and grow with experienced professionals. The program is a minimum of two years, and in some cases, there may be a need or election to stay in a particular functional area for a longer period of time. You'll gain intensive experience through rotations in:

  • Training
  • Proposals
  • Aftermarket
  • Project Management

The combination of Training, Proposals, Aftermarket and Project Management exposure provides a breadth of experience much greater than most traditional career paths for new college hires.

SSSTP graduates can look forward to very important roles in Subsea Technical Sales:

  • Sales Representative
  • Account Manager
  • Executive Account Manager

Surface Sales and Marketing Training Program

With three steps approximately 3-5 years*, you'll have an opportunity to experience the excellence in you, as you learn, grow and develop in our Sales and Marketing Training Program (SMTP). You'll gain intensive experience through three rotations:

  • Exposure: for approximately 4-6 months*: you'll be hands-on with our products in production
  • Experience: for approximately 1½ -2 years*: you'll gain hands-on knowledge and skill in field work
  • Expertise: for approximately 1-2 years*: you'll work in a sales support role

* Assignment durations are dependent upon the knowledge and effort of the trainee, as well as promotional position availability

After completing the program, successful SMTP graduates are expected to move into full-time positions that utilize their individual strengths. These full-time assignments are based on the demonstrated abilities of each graduate to assume greater responsibility. In other words, what you get is what you earn.

SMTP graduates can find themselves in very important roles:

Subsea Project Services Training Program

Build on your skills through our Subsea Project Services Training Program (SPSTP). Learn and grow with experienced professionals, benefitting from a variety of entry-level positions in a very eventful year:

  • Associate Project Cost Analyst
    • Cost control – application of project principles
    • Use of EcoSys Financial Manager and other procedures/software
  • Associate Project Scheduler
    • Application of basic planning/scheduling principles, plus more complex assignments
    • Use of Primavera P6® Version 6.2 and progress measurement
  • Associate Project Document Controller
    • Manage technical documents; procedures, guidelines and workflows using Livelink®
    • Requirements for preparation, numbering and revision
    • Registers, transmittals and reports
  • Associate Project Risk Coordinator
    • Gathering, tracking and mitigation; identify, assess, plan and manage risks
    • Use of Cameron risk database, CRITER, and Primavera Pertmaster software
    • Research, follow-up, reporting

SPSTP graduates can find themselves in very important roles:

  • Associate Project Services Coordinator – hands-on, live projects

With our Subsea Graduate Engineering Training Program (SGETP), you'll learn and grow with experienced professionals, and gain intensive experience in just over a year:

  • 3 week Engineering Training Boot Camp: SAP, INVENTOR, AutoCAD, Engineering Standards and Procedures, Safety Training, etc.
  • 10-11 months in Houston, Texas: Product Design: Trees, Wellheads, R&D, Manifolds, Connectors, Aftermarket
  • 2 months in Leeds, England: Manufacturing
  • 6 weeks in Celle, Germany: Control Systems
  • 2 months in Berwick, Louisiana: Aftermarket Training: Product Integration Testing, Offshore Service Training

After completing the program, successful SGETP graduates are expected to move into full-time positions that utilize their individual strengths. Assignments are based on the demonstrated abilities of each SGETP graduate to assume greater responsibility. In other words, what you get is what you earn.

SGETP graduates can find themselves in very important roles, with plenty of room for growth:

  • Design work in a variety of product groups
  • Preferences for a specific group based on demand
  • Work in Houston, the nation's fourth-largest city, with potential for international positions
  • Opportunity to move up the engineering ladder
